The Swash can size was about what I expected: a skinny can about 6 inches tall, maybe 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The "At Large" fragrance was sort of a cross between regular Febreeze and pretty much any air freshener or fabric softener labeled "fresh."br /br /I tried this out on two different articles of clothing: a t-shirt worn all day by my teenager and a sweater that just came out of storage and is a little musty. I followed the directions, then waited about ten minutes for the first smell check. The spray itself dispensed more like an air freshener than a squirt bottle, enabling it to dry much faster than I expected and covered more of the fabric quickly.br /br /Overall, the t-shirt smelled better than I expected; probably good enough to wear again, but I ended up spraying the underarm area again to get better results. The sweater smelled good with only one application, although there was still a tiny smell of mustiness if you put your nose right up against it. The scent of the spray faded a bit, which was a good thing, since it went more strongly than I'd have wanted the end result to be. br /br /A few hours after spraying, both items still smelled like they came out of the dryer recently; this far outperformed a competing product from a popular fabric softener brand that I'd used before, which smelled very obviously like you'd doused yourself with the stuff you spray on furniture. I think this would be a good product to use if you're going to go out at night wearing the same clothes you did all day and you need some fast freshening or if you happen to just be a college kid who doesn't do laundry often enough.br /br /It's more expensive than some competing brands you'd find at a store, but I think the area of coverage per can and the very good results are worth it.br /br /br /br /***Edit: Just wanted to add that we were so pleased with the performance of this during the school year that my son asked me to buy the Smooth It Out, Steam It Out and another Fresh It Up for him to take to college with him in the fall. It's not a substitute for doing laundry, but considering space limitations in the dorm and how busy he'll be, chances are, he'll forget doing it enough that these will come in handy.

I have to admit, I was shy about trying this - there is another well known brand out there that imparts a fragrence that might be "fresh" but is heavy.br /br /I have used it on a sportcoat and raincoat after being in a smoke filled environment - it has a light fresh scent at first, but it fades,and odor's were eliminated. Really. br /br /I figure I saved the cost of the the product (vs. a trip to the dry cleaners) on that application alone. You really do not need to use much to get a desired result, which I also liked.br /br /Next stop? A chair that 2 years ago had tomato soup spilled on an arm rest- cleaned, then steam cleaned (costly). It still had a smell. Not after SWASH. Odor is GONE ( and it has been 3 weeks).br /br /Lastly remember the fake (silk, I think) ficus trees that were the rage in the early 90's? Can we say "refuse to update?" - yup I still have 2 of them. Total pain to clean - I once took them out on the deck and hosed them down - not a bad result, but there was a lingering musty scent - no mold. One treatment with SWASH, and I am back in fake ficus business. It worked!br /br /Granted, Tide probably would not ever suggest you try it on anything but clothes, but I can assure you it works!br /br /Excellent for:br /br /Singlesbr /Seniorsbr /Guysbr /Trendy unique types.br /br /I like it!
